1- Very Stunning resolution of 2048x1536 is particularly impressive. Bearing in mind a laptop generally has a resolution of 1366x768 and a standard 40 inch HD TV is 1920x1080, you can understand how clear stunning images and HD video will be on such a portable device.
2- An incredibly upgraded faster processor will improve the speed of apps considerably and was also essential for streaming HD video for that new hi-res retina display. With a A5X chip set and Quad-Core graphics, it is expected to lure some users away from console gaming.
3- IPad is 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) which has the potential to deliver internet use which is 10 times faster than 3G. Many will agree this is the next big thing in mobile internet access. It will be like moving from dial up to broadband back in the late 90’s so promises to change the future of mobile internet surfing.
4- Battery use was expected to reduce given the new screen resolution, but you can still expect up to 10 hours on moderate brightness and use which is excellent news for those long flights
5- 5 Mega Pixel Camera will now be included to capture better quality images and video, although most users will not be using it as their standard camera given the device is not really the right size to replace it! Nonetheless, the quality will be much better when usage is required.
In addition to the new features above, it is surprising Apple are keeping the prices the same as the iPad 2. As usual the basic model will be $499 as before for a standard Wi-Fi Model.
As before, there are considerable increases though on 4G LTE usage which could increase the price to around $829 for the 64GB Model.
Next Friday will be an exciting day for the millions of Apple Fans.
